October 24, 2007:

"Storm Troopers of Christ" is nearly complete. This amibitious project is set to be the definitive film on the church and the Holocaust, an area that deserves a great deal of popular interest and better understanding.

We are in the final stages of editing and finishing and are projecting a release date of November 15, 2007. Check our store for ordering information.

April 25, 2007:

Production has begun on "Storm Troopers of Christ: Faith and Flag in Nazi Germany." We hope to have this film complete by the end of this summer and ready for distribution to PBS stations in the fall.

This film will examine the way the Christian doctrine of baptism became a dividing line between those who chose to follow Nazism's racial theories and those who resisted the Nazis.

The title is taken from a phrase frequently used by Joachim Hosenfelder, a leader within the Glaubensbewegung Deutsche Cristen (Faith Movement of the German Christians), a pro-Nazi group that peaked in its influence in 1934.
